Using just one ingredient, a peace lily can bloom continuously for up to ten years.
For those who appreciate the peaceful beauty of the peace lily, there is a natural technique to ensure its perennial blooms.
By adding a personal touch to our living space, we can transform it into an oasis of comfort and familiarity. Whether we choose furniture that reflects our style or add unique details, these details not only speak to us, but also create an atmosphere that resonates with our soul. Coming home after a long day becomes an oasis of peace, especially when surrounded by elements that evoke joy.
While artwork, photographs, and elegant decor create this atmosphere, the presence of nature elevates it to a higher level. Houseplants easily fill living spaces and add elegance and tranquility to their surroundings. Among these botanical companions, the peace lily stands out, with its lush green leaves and delicate white flowers. Known as a symbol of happiness and peace, this plant requires minimal care to thrive thanks to one simple ingredient.
Care for your peace lily to ensure it blooms continuously
Although the flowering period of plants is usually limited, the flowers can survive with good nutrition, allowing the plant to develop naturally for years.
Keeping your peace lilies vibrant is surprisingly easy: a homemade mixture of tapioca flour and water acts as a natural fertilizer. Tapioca flour is extracted from cassava tubers and is rich in essential minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium and iron.
To make the fertilizer, mix one tablespoon of tapioca flour with 400 ml of water to obtain a smooth, liquid consistency. Once the mixture is well mixed, strain it to remove any lumps.
